Peace Summer Philippine Tour 7 (Come Meet The Boys)

Come one, come all and join LIBERA at the SM Podium this Wednesday (14 Apr 2010) Afternoon (about 5PM) for the first of their public appearances in Manila, the Philippines.

The boys will not be performing at this event but will sign autographs and meet with fans.

The mechanics of the meet and greet will be similar to those of that used in the October 2009 version.  Supporters will be given numbers and may approach the tables where the boys will be seated when their numbers are called.  Purchase of one of the three albums (Peace, New Dawn, Eternal) is necessary in order to secure a number to join the queue.  

While in queue, have the opportunity to meet the boys and request for autographs.   In order to ensure the smooth flow of the queue,  supporters may take the pictures of the boys but will not be allowed to pose for individual pictures.

If you wish to gift the boys with tokens of appreciation, you may bring them to the meet and greet and present them to the boys.  Please note however that the boys have already been showered with gifts from their earlier tour stops.  Small meaningful tokens are preferable.

Peace Summer Philippine Tour 4

On behalf of Libera and of the tour organizers of their Philippines,  we would like to thank all of those who have purchased tickets to see the boys perform.  

The venue is small and all of the the seats closer to the stage than those at the October concerts last year giving you a more intimate experience of the boys angelic voices no matter where in the venue you will be seated.   Those attending the performances will have an opportunity to meet the boys after each show.

We encourage you to help spread the news of where the tickets are available. 

We would also like to remind everyone that the boys will conduct a "meet and greet" and sign autographs at the Podium at around four-thirty on 14 April 2010.  The mechanics of the meet and greet will be similar to those last October.  Copies of Libera's albums "Eternal", "New Dawn (Philippine Release)  and "Peace will be available for purchase at the event.   Tickets to the performances if still available,  will be sold at the meet and greet.  We encourage everyone to join in displaying the world-renowned Filipino hospitality and make each and every one of the boys feel the strength and sincerity of our support.

To All Our Cebuano Friends

For our friends in Cebu, we had a chance to speak with former Finance Sec. Bobby de Ocampo and asked him why LIBERA will be unable to pass Cebu during this visit.  He informed us that the boys will be in the Philippines for a very limited number of days  mainly to launch their new album “PEACE” and the first ever “in-flight” concert by Philippine Airlines where LIBERA will be the featured artist.     

Most of the boys time in the Philippines will be spent on promotional work for the album and the “in-flight” concert as well as on a TV appearance.  Since all of these need to be done in Manila,  they will not be able to make a visit to Cebu this time around.

Peace Summer Philippine Tour 1 (NEWS FLASH!)

News Flash: We've extended our spring tour in south east Asia to include a stop in the Philippines, where we plan to hold a concert. More details to follow...

Now, a message from Mr. Joel Andaya.  

The loyal organizers of the Libera visit have allowed me to let you in on the following:

1. Libera is scheduled to be in Manila in the Week of April 12th (immediately following their Seoul Concert);

2. They are scheduled to perform a couple of "fan-appreciation concerts" tentative venue and date;

3. They may have other appearances to promote "Peace" and "New Dawn".

Let us repay this "fan appreciation" effort of Libera by spreading the word of their visit to all possible fans and interested persons. Let us pack the venues where they make their appearances, buy copies of their albums (their are 3 albums and one DVD on shelves) and show them how much we too appreciate the attention they have given their support base here...

That was the first thing I posted when I saw this post on my wall, and that was I posted on Libera's wall. hahahahah Good thing I was sane enough to delete it cause they might think that I'm just spamming their wall. hahahaha Thank you Joel Andaya for the wonderful info you had shared with us. The tour's like 3 weeks away from now. WHO'S SUPER EXCITED? I KNOW I AM

Meet And Greet Libera at the Podium, Manila (10-24-2009)

Disclaimer: This post is more of my personal experience so I just want to warn you all that this is going to be really long.

We arrived a bit late during the meet and greet session at Podium. Numbers 60-70 were already called to line up so my aunt hurriedly bought the cd and lined-up too. But only two people per cd are allowed to line-up so my aunt went to buy the dvd and I lined up for that. The first one we noticed there was Big Ben. He is indeed really big and really handsome. I didn’t know he was the “Big Ben” at that time. We just knew that he must be a former Libera member and thought that he’s really handsome.
