Liberalites.tumblr.com

I got an email from a fellow fan, Dorcas asking me to promote a tumble log she and her friend made that is dedicated to Libera. I think tumblr is a good way in promoting Libera as well as sharing pictures, videos, "official" news and other stuff so if you do have a tumblr account be sure to follow them, they follow back as well. Oh btw, even if you don't have tumblr you can still check their posts. :)

So what are you waiting for FOLLOW (or visit) them now! :)

Anyhoo, if you have questions, drop a message on their Ask Us Anything tab (at the upper part of the page) or send them an EMAIL. :)

Unfortunately, James Threadgill wasn't around. Flynn Marks and Alfie Smart weren't at the concert as well so there are speculations that they might have left the choir already (or at least left the touring choir). But for Tom Cully fans, it has been confirmed that Tom was there on both concert probably as a technician or something. There were no meet and greets at the concert though a short "photo session" was held after the Bristol concert. CD's and DVD's were also sold at the venue.

Libera also posted some photos from the concert on their BLOG but I also posted it here just in case. ;)

Ps. Thank you so much to Patrick and Bullehynka from the Libera Passion and to Dani, Danie and Yorkie of Libera Dreams. :)

Nutcracker

Libera has been part of the "The Nutcracker" with the song "Walts of the Snowflakes" along side with Simon Rattle and Berlin Orchestra.

You can view the album details HERE

Libera also did an interview promoting The Nutcracker. Kavana's really talkative as usual while Ben's unusually silent. And look how Ralph tries to insert a green joke. hahaha

On side note, you can listen to Waltz of the Snowflakes HERE and also watch the ballet sequence on their song HERE.

USA Tour Updates

To make things sort of organized, I decided that I would link all the information in this page. This post will be updated once there are new news about Libera's US Tour. Also, to avoid repetition of mentioning the song line-up and members and staff list in the USA Tour Concert summaries that I'm making, I decided to make individual posts about them. Any changes on the soloists or song will also be updated in the main concert review page. :)

All updates are taken from Thunderhawk261, Serietah, Jayfrog, LibeLA, from Libera360; Flora, JimmyRiddle, illuminaperpetua, whitetail1985, Lauren, Lexi, Jenn and Tom413 from Libera Dreams; Fan_de_LOK and Geozed from Libera Passion; ElectroPercussive, kpmac1 for Youtube videos; and Luke Ray for some photos and all the wonderful people who have shared their experiences. I'm sorry I couldn't mention all of you.

Here are the links for the posts:

I'll try to look for more blogs, videos and pictures and update the posts. Thanks everyone! :)

Peachtree Presbyterian Church Concert

There are couple of people who shared their experience about the Atlanta concert and it's best to read it directly from there. Read what Lexi and Larry wrote on their own blogs. Some pictures are posted on Lexi's blog as well. Also, wonderful post by Bobby Kigger can be seen on his BLOG. Enjoy them. :)

Here are some fan videos:

Ps. Lauren asked Sam if he had heard a fan from Philippines named Chix and he said he thinks he's heard of me... GASSSSP! hahahaha Thanks Lauren! :)

Get Your Classical Relief Recoding of 'The Prayer'!

Get your Classical Relief recording of The Prayer!  Read Original Article HERE.

Pick up The Mail on Sunday this weekend, March 14, to claim the amazing Classical Relief for Haiti recording of the beautiful aria The Prayer - and at the same time you'll be helping the children of Haiti. You will find an exclusive promotion code printed in your copy of the paper.

The recording was made just a few weeks ago when a stunning array of classical crossover stars got together to raise money for the earthquake victims.  Paul Potts, Faryl, The Priests, Blake, Darius Campbell, Rhydian, Bond, and many more were there, singing with the glorious Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - and you can claim the sublime result today, with all profits going to the Haiti Disaster Emergency Committee.

The project took nearly twelve hours to to record and relied heavily on the goodwill and patience of the many stars present.  'It was a mammoth project but a wonderful one to be a part of,' said Baines.  'We had fun but we all knew the real reason for doing it - to ensure the people of Haiti are not forgotten.'

The Haiti Disaster Emergency Committee works hard to bring aid to people affected by disaster all over the world.  Since the devastating earthquake struck Haiti in January, the DEC and their partners have established 59 hospitals, supported the delivery of a two week dry food ration to 1.1million people through the UN World Food Programme, and were among those helping to provide clean water to more than 750,000 people a day.  These efforts have made a huge difference, but the need for more emergency shelter remain urgent priorities.

Official Tracklist

As I've said, the once I've posted before were unofficial. Now, here's the official tracklist. I got these from Amazon in which you could also here preview of the songs.
  1. O Sanctissima
  2. Time
  3. Ave Virgo (based on a theme from Mozart's Clarinet Concerto)
  4. Faithful Heart
  5. Gaelic Blessing (Deep Peace)
  6. Exsultate
  7. How Shall We Sing That Majesty
  8. Lacrymosa (based on "Aquarium" from "Carnival of the Animals")
  9. Adoro Te
  10. Lead Kindly Light
  11. Panis Angelicus
  12. Touch The Sky
  13. The Fountain (based on Prelude in C Minor)
The line up looks really good! Though I still wanted to here their version of Lullaby. I can imagine how adorable Mini James or Freddie if they'd sing that song.

Anyhoo, another way to listen to some of their songs is if you have bought any EMI opendisc. Go to this LINK and insert your opendisc on your CD-rom and it will prompt you to the song preview. :) If you don't have an account yet, it will prompt you to registration first before going to the page where in you can listen to Libera's songs under new release. :)

Enjoy everyone! :)
